Learning Torah in the Time of Corona

Bet El Yeshiva students learning in "Kapsulot" during Corona

The Bet El Yeshiva is back in session! With 60 new students (about 370 in total!), meeting the proper health requirements has been a challenge that the administration and student body have been happy to meet.

Organized into "Kapsulot" [small fixed groups of 20-50 students depending on age], students learn in a socially distant environment in an open and restricted space.

This year, the Yeshiva is also a second home to 50 soldiers serving in a variety of units, including intelligence, Rabbanut, and Kfir.

There are also currently 120 married students, some of whom are involved in outreach programs throughout the country, including in Haifa, Hod HaSharon and the Jordan Valley. 17 students are currently engaged.

The Dayanut program [program recognized by the State of Israel to train Rabbis to be judges on Torah issues] had expanded greatly over the last year, with almost 30 currently enrolled students.
