Construction Updates Everywhere!

Construction of the new IDF Prep Academy Campus

It's been awhile since we've updated you on our construction projects, but that doesn't mean we've stopped building! Construction of the dormitory of the new IDF Prep Academy campus is now complete, totaling 43,000 sq. ft.!

And with that behind us, we've just started construction on a new building at the Bnei Tzvi High School for Boys that will house 8 classrooms, totaling almost 8,000 sq. ft. to accommodate the influx of new students.

And lastly a plan is being advanced for the expansion of the cafeteria at the Yeshiva of Higher Learning, by about 2,200 sq. ft.

Sukkot: Returning to the Land

by Rav Zalman Baruch Melamed, translated by Sharona Cohen

Rav Zalman Baruch Melamed

A Generation with Light

The Sukkot holiday is full of mitzvot (good deeds), including the mitzvah of the lulav, the four species. Our Sages say that the four species are similar to weapons - the lulav is similar to a sword, or perhaps a rifle, the etrog maybe to a grenade. In any event, the Sages intend to tell us that there are spiritual wars and there are physical wars, and Man in this world must confront various pests and ward them off.
