IDF Prep Academy Prays for Meron Victims

This week students at the Bet El IDF Prep Academy dedicated special learning and prayers for the "elevation of the souls" of victims of the tragedy at Mount Meron:

They decided to add into their regular learning schedule the Ramchal's Derekh HaShem, and tomorrow they will travel to Mount Meron - an almost 3-hour drive - to pray for the "elevation of the souls" of those who died.

Additionally, on Sunday, in an effort to increase acts of loving kindness in the wake of the horror, students volunteered to help renovate the home of a local Holocaust survivor.

Israel has held too many elections of late – but that's a lot more democratic than what is going on in the Palestinian Authority: no elections at all. 

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has held his position since January 2005, when he was elected in a popular vote for a four-year term. A quick calculation shows that his term ended over 12 years ago – yet he has never vacated his seat. Abbas has found every excuse in the world since then not to hold a new election, because of his sense that he and Fatah would lose control of the PA to the Hamas terror organization.

Several Israeli reservists, working undercover in Arab areas completely on their own, have revealed a detailed, ongoing Palestinian Authority plan to build the infrastructures for a future Palestinian state. 

The activity, as reported by Channel 13 correspondent Tzvi Yechezkeli, is taking place on a daily basis in areas of Judea and Samaria that, according to the Oslo Accords, belong exclusively to Israel.

The undercover team members refer to the detailed PA documentation that they've discovered as the Archives of the Palestinian Nuclear Bomb: hundreds of construction plans, lists of donors, and lots of money that is being used, right under our noses, to expand the PA's reach to territory assigned by the Oslo Accords to full Israeli control! 

Furthermore, all this is taking place without Israeli permission yet with full and open European Union support - in land on which Oslo forbids the PA to build.

Bet El Updates

Construction on the new IDF Prep Academy campus is continuing apace! We are currently finishing up the outer stone of the northern building, which will house the dormitory, kitchen, dining hall, fitness room, Krav Maga studio, and more. 

Additionally, we are preparing for the construction new classrooms at the Bnei Tzvi High School for Boys.

And on a very exciting note, the Bet El Yeshiva for Higher Torah Learning celebrated this week the end of an "era" - in the next few days learning will begin anew without division into capsules, because 100% of the Yeshiva's students have been vaccinated!
